Winter 2019Buckley Menswear celebrates
Buckley Menswear celebrated its first birthday in November 2019.
Having worked for a well respected men’s outfitters for over 20 years, owner Philip Buckley decided that the time was right to branch out and open his own store.
Located on South Parade, in one of the most iconic buildings in Rochdale town centre, Buckley Menswear has two floors filled with quality and classic menswear.
The ground floor features casual collections for everyday wear, with everything from jeans and t-shirts to coats and shoes.
The formal tailoring and suit hire departments are located downstairs, featuring with a comprehensive selection of suits and jackets, as well as formal trousers for all occasions.
In July 2019 the store was shortlisted for a Drapers Independent Award by the Drapers trade magazine.
Mr Buckley said: “For a one-man independent in Rochdale, it was massive to be named as one of the ten finalists. I was very pleased and humbled to be recognised in the Best New Retailer category.”
