Winter 2020Buckley Menswear goes digital

The retailer has introduced an online shopping experience

Celebrating two years in November since opening, Buckley Menswear has recently launched an online shop to allow customers to browse the current stock and purchase online, alongside visiting instore.

Philip Buckley said: “We haven’t sold stock on the website before, but this is a reaction to how the trade is evolving. People’s shopping habits have changed in the last eight months and this has now become an essential tool, even for small indies like ourselves. I still believe that you can’t beat the instore experience, where it’s more tactile and you benefit from a quality service, but we are all having to react to this new reality.

“It’s been a testing baptism with two floods and a worldwide pandemic in our first two years, but we are here for the long haul and continually adapting to our customers’ needs. We offer a safe shopping environment with the options of one-to-one appointments and even home visits for that personal shopping experience.

“The website will initially be ‘Men’s Room Essentials’ with a core range of essentials that every man’s wardrobe should have, whether it’s a quality white T or a fitted 3-piece navy suit. There will always be more seasonal stock instore, but hopefully it will give people the opportunity to see what we are about and give us another outlet.”

To celebrate Buckley Menswear’s second anniversary, special promotions will be live throughout November.
