                                                            This issue’s cover features a vintage Mini loaned to
                                                            us by local businessman Jonathan Rigg, and inside
                                                            is a celebration of local culture, arts, music, people,
                                                            fashion, lifestyle and business.


                                                            Katie Davies spoke to the new Man of Rochdale,
                                                            John Kay, about his charity work with Rochdale
                                                            Connections Trust and the local branch of the
                                                            NSPCC.


                                                            This year is the 70th anniversary of Turners Dance
                                                            Studio and the founder’s grandson, Paul-Michael
                                                            Jones, talks about his grandparents’ legacy and the
                                                            studio today.

                                                            Michelle Kight spoke to Tom Szakaly about
                                                            Noddy’s Puncture – his Emerson Lake and Palmer
                                                            (ELP) tribute band – and about meeting the
                                                            legendary Keith Emerson.

         Deborah Vines, from The Menopause Clinic, based in Heywood, explains bio-identical hormone
         replacement therapy.

         The world’s first plastic-free glitter has been developed in Rochdale by Ronald Britton.


         Ste Walton takes us on a tour of Healey Dell and Ian Kimber shows us which species of birds we might
         see on a walk round Hollingworth Lake.

         We have recipes from Natasha Brown of Brown’s Cakes and former professional footballer Keith
         Hicks tells us about the work of Rochdale AFC’s Football in the Community Trust.

         We also have features about Rochdale Cycling Club, the Northern Baroque Orchestra, Skylight
         Circus and Heywood Amateur’s production of The Addams Family.
